Meet the Rooster: Lynnette Abbott, associate director

In the latest instalment to our Meet the Rooster series, we chat to Lynnette, associate director and new head of design here at theĀ coop.

Tell us about your Rooster journey so far, and how you got into PR…My background is in marketing and brand development, but I’ve always been involved in PR by extension. I started my career working for the NHS (literally marketing blood) and moved to a design agency soon after that.

PR Summit: Behind the scenes

Last week saw team rooster host its annual PR summit. Associate Director, Lynnette Abbott, reflects on the day…

The Little Red PR summit is a day I’d often witnessed from afar via its social channels, but like the PR equivalent of the Freemasons, I didn’t really know what went on. Spoiler alert: there’s no secret handshake.

Welcome to the Coop, Lights & Lamps!

We are beyond thrilled to announce the latest addition to our growing interiors division; online resource for design-led, market-leading lighting, Lights & Lamps.Ā Lights & Lamps is the brainchild of UK-based lighting design expert Niki Wright, who has been designing, developing, and manufacturing best-selling products for the British high street for over 15 years.

The KBB market: what’s the status quo post-lockdown?

Back at the start of lockdown, we documented the impact of COVID-19 on the fashion, technology and interiors sectors. They varied greatly, but the general consensus amongst the design press was optimistic; increased time at home means an increased awareness of the pain points in one’s property, with days spent working at a dog-eared kitchen table making you all too aware of a tired home in desperate need of a little TLC.

Looking through the lens: Silhouette’s sustainability report

Even amidst a global pandemic, sustainability is still a critical concern for brands, press and consumers alike. With daily reports of disposable face masks being fished out of the sea, it’s crucial brands not only reduce waste, but also make positive change in local and global communities.Ā Which is why we were delighted to see our client Silhouette, parent company of neubau, our sustainable eyewear brand, publish its sustainability report for 2018/2019.

Welcome on board MATCHIMATCHI!

We are stoked to announce today that we’ve added another name to our roster of leading interiors clients; modular, designer lighting firm MATCHIMATCHI.

Spearheaded by two of the UK’s most dynamic lighting designers, Scarlett Hampton and Niki Wright – who between them boast over two decades experience designing, developing and manufacturing best-selling products to the British high street – MATCHIMATCHI has been established to combat the UK’s throw-away attitude to lighting and instead promote the investment in luxury, customisable lighting that will stand the test of time.

Meet the Rooster: Frankie Stewart, senior account executive

In the latest instalment to our Meet the Rooster series, we chat to Frankie, senior account executive and new member of the interiors team here at the coop.

Tell us about your Rooster journey so far, and how you got into PR…

I started working for Little Red straight out of Uni. I had completed an internship with the agency the previous summer and had loved the hustle and bustle of busy agency life. My life as a rooster so far has been fun, busy and slightly complicated.

Social Media: What To Watch In 2020

We might be just past the half-way mark, but 2020 has already been a busy year for social media.Ā From an immense surge in social media use in line with COVID-19; to the enormity of the #blacklivesmatter movement; and now the ā€˜war of disinformation’ expected in the run up to the US presidential election; it’s been hard to keep up!

Thankfully, the social media whizzes here at Little Red have pulled together the latest social media announcements into a quick list of our top 5 ā€œones to watchā€ for the rest of 2020.
