Our technology and music division is one of the best in the business…
With that in mind, we’re paying another visit to our ‘Meet the Rooster’ series to introduce @rosallih senior account manager and all-round tech and audio superstar who leads and oversees an impressive portfolio of brands.
Tell us about your experience and how you came to join the Coop?Ā
Iāve worked in PR for 8 years now, which seems crazy as those years have absolutely flown by. I āfell intoā PR funnily enough, which Iāve heard from a few people in the industry, too. I was working in Zara while studying and kept asking about internships at the head office. Pestering my line managers paid off when I got put forward for an interview with the PR team there and the rest is history! After my dabble into fashion PR, I jumped into the world of tech where I worked at Sony for several years looking after the PR for the Sound products there until I found myself at the Coop working on the amazing tech and audio clients here. Iād heard loads about the agency and the infamous Summer Showcase from journalists, which was a huge draw for me. An enviable roster of clients sealed the deal!Ā

Ā
Could you tell us a bit about your background in tech/audio PR?Ā
Where to begin here? My family love music and I was lucky enough to brought up with an incredible hi-fi system (thanks, Dad!). So many of my childhood memories revolve around music, whether it was my mum chucking Iron Maiden on the record player while we ran around the house headbanging, or my dad strumming on his guitar plugged into his amp. I wouldnāt say it to their faces, but yes, my parents are pretty cool.Ā Ā
Iāve been going to hi-fi shows for as long as I can remember. Bristol and London Hi-Fi Show were annual fixtures for me as a kid. All of this has fed my love and appreciation for listening to music on a system that can really do it justice. Itās such a full circle moment going back now to represent the brands that Iāve known and loved for years.Ā Ā
Ā
What does your job entail?Ā
No two days are the same, but I think thatās why those of us who work in PR love what we do. Whether itās organising a press event to launch a new product or jumping on a call to discuss strategies with clients, thereās so much variety in my day-to-day. The end goal is always to get stand-out coverage for your clients and thereās nothing more thrilling than seeing that coverage go live. It never gets old!Ā
Ā
What do you love most about being a member of team Rooster?
ClichĆ© I know, but it the people that make a place and weāre a real team. Everyone is so supportive, and Iāve already made some wonderful friends during my time here. Working with lovely clients is always so important, too. Itās all about collaboration. One team, one dream!Ā
Ā
Describe your happy place…Ā
Iām sat on a sandy beach with some mountains behind me, the sun is out, and Iām laying down reading a book while I dry off from a swim in the sea. An Aperol next to me is the cherry on top.Ā Ā
Ā
Where can we typically find you outside of work?Ā
Iām most likely to be spotted with my headphones on, in my own world, stomping down the street. Being from London I love a powerwalk! Ā
Ā
Tell us one thing nobody knows about you!āÆĀ
Iām a secret plane watcher and I love a bit of time on the Flight radar app watching where all the planes are headed off to. I guess itās no secret Iām a little bit of a nerd working on the Tech and Music team⦠Sorry for calling out my fellow plane watchers as nerds; you just have to say it how it is though.Ā Ā
