A larger venue, our biggest roster of clients yet, exclusive product launches – the Little Red Rooster annual Summer Showcase proved to be a rousing success. Not even the impending threat of a tube strike could stop more than 100 journalists hot footing it over to the spacious Polpo At The Ape & Bird, near Cambridge Circus, to see an array of products from the worlds of interiors, technology, luxury and fashion. The likes of Sunday Times Style, Livingetc, Elle Decoration, The Sun, Cosmopolitan, InStyle, Stylist, Wired, T3, The Gadget Show, Newsweek and FT How To Spend It (to name but a few) enjoyed our renowned hospitality and some new product reveals from our clients.
Spread across two floors, art-gallery style plinths proved the perfect platform to showcase the products, allowing journalists space to walk round at their leisure and get the lowdown on each clientâs wares, while enjoying delectable Venetian Cicchetti and refreshing Aperol Spritz drinks.
The ground floor was dedicated to our interiors and fashion clients with premium appliance manufacturer Smeg revealing it beautifully designed, 50s-style BLFO1 Blender while British luxury audio specialist, Ruark, unveiled its R4 IMS music system and took the wraps off the new gorgeous white finish on its R7 Radiogram. Elsewhere Ted Baker rolled out its shiny new limited edition Quella bikes, while luxury British bath and basin brand, Victoria & Albert, designer radiator-maker Bisque Radiators and high-end lingerie designer StephieAnn completed the impressive line-up.
Journalists making their way upstairs to the second floor to see our technology and audio clients were greeted by the Jarre Technologiesâ giant eye-catching AeroBull dog speaker system. Working the room, the attendees could demo Homidoâs VR headset for the first time, listen to high resolution audio with Astell & Kernâs flagship AK380 portable music player and Audeze EL-8 headphones, as well as check out Osmoâs brand new educational iPad gaming accessory that expands gameplay beyond the screen. Journalists also spied a host of other high-end audio, action cam and iDevice accessories from XSories, Proporta, Denon, Dynaudio, Native Union, Knomo, BigBen and Flexson. Wowing the crowds were demonstrations of the new iMagic sets from Marvinâs Magic.
Our Summer Showcase is the perfect opportunity for journalists to get personal with our great clients in one location and judging by the success of this yearâs event 2016 look set to be even bigger and better.
