Meet the Rooster: Ellie Webb

Hello! I’m Ellie, and I recently joined Little Red Rooster as a Junior Account Executive for the music and tech team.

Ever since I was a child, I have always had a passion for luxury brands. I would often cut out print spreads from Vogue and make montages on my walls (didn’t we all?) whilst creating my own brands and campaigns just for fun. I always envisioned myself working in the media industry doing what I loved; therefore, this passion grew as I began my A Levels, where I studied Media, Business and English Literature. After securing a place at my dream University in Sussex to study Business Management and Marketing, I could see that my goal of working with luxury brands and clients was in reach!

I knew I had to get a foot in the door early on, and my eager 16 year old self couldn’t wait to get into the hustle and bustle of working life. In 2016 I secured a two week internship with a London PR agency, working with lifestyle brands and influencers. I felt inspired by the industry and the fast paced atmosphere; I loved that there was never a dull moment.

Once I had graduated from University, I worked for six months at a highly successful data storage company – the complete opposite to my love of lifestyle brands. But whilst being there, the industry opened my eyes to a whole new side of tech that I found super interesting. I’m fascinated by the constant evolvement of technology and how we, as a society, rely on it so much. Therefore, when I saw the Junior Account Executive role appear at Little Red Rooster I couldn’t wait to apply. I am now lucky enough to work with some amazing tech brands such as Marshall, Nanoleaf and WDC – which all cover completely different areas of technology.

On weekends I love travelling to London to see my friends from university. It’s great catching up with them and discussing our new adult lives over a few cocktails. However, as much as I’d like to say I am a social butterfly, I also enjoy spending time at home with my family and dog, going on countryside walks… and maybe stopping off for a cheeky Sunday brunch afterwards.

My favourite thing about being part of the LRR team? Aside from being around an amazing team who have made me feel like part of the furniture, I have to mention the opportunities I’ve already been exposed too. From attending my first launch event only two months into the role, to helping organise LRR’S annual Summer Showcase; I have experienced so many things already and I’m just getting started! Second to this would be, the ability to push my boundaries and strengthen my experience. I recently secured my first piece of coverage for Marshall in HYPEBEAST, and seeing as this is a company that I’ve been fond of for many years, it’s a moment I’ll never forget!
