Meet the Rooster: Account Executive Dora Dabliz

As I approach my first year at Little Red Rooster, I’d like to take a second to reflect on what a phenomenal journey I have been on.

Before starting at Little Red Rooster, I was working in Australia at various horse racing yards where I honed my personal skills, proved I am calm in a crisis, and good at straight thinking (and talking).

I came back to the UK in August 2023 on what was meant to be a month-long visit before going back down under. In that time, I spoke to Vic who reiterated that I although I didn’t know much about the world of PR, I suited it and should give it a go. Moving home from Australia and ready for a new challenge, I thought why not?

I then joined in October of 2023 in a temporary intern/admin role and haven’t looked back since. I learnt the ropes and admired the team’s skills and expertise, picking up all the tips and tricks as I went. Here I formed the basis of my LRR life and picked up valuable lessons from the people who do it best.

After four short months flew by, I was promoted to Junior Account Executive, coverage started coming in and the thrill was addictive. Some of the highlights include hosting national and interiors press at the renowned Chelsea Flower Show for David Harber. This was an amazing opportunity to build strong relationships with clients and journalists which are invaluable in my everyday work life. Another was the infamous LRR Summer Showcase where all our brands took centre stage in front of hundreds of press and I loved being able to explain our brand’s products face-to-face.

The support you get at the agency is wonderful. Everyone is working towards a common goal and the feeling of having your peers’ full support and faith is unmatchable. The team at Little Red Rooster really took me under their wing when I first started and have given me the confidence to grow to where I am now.

When it comes to my out of office life, I can often be found at the yard with my horses. I have ridden since I could walk and, without a doubt, my happy place is sitting behind two big furry ears. After work I head straight to the yard to do the horses, be it riding, mucking out or just going down to say hi. My weekends are jam packed with more of the same and you can find me outside from dawn to dusk.

I am forever grateful to the team for taking me under their wing and supporting me throughout my journey. Little Red Rooster is a built on great values and even better people and I look forward to making lasting memories here.
