Welcome back, everyone. When we last left off, it was off the back of a harrowing hazing at a picturesque countryside retreat, where, as well as learning about all things Little Red
, I was subjected to one-too-many evenings of karaoke.
Since then, Iāve had to put down the karaoke mic and pick up work with just some of our exceptional clients. So, now two months down the line, Iām going to fill you in on how Iāve been settling into my new life at the Coop.
Where to start? Usually, youād lead with the fun stuff, but, as thereās too much to choose from ā and Iām working to a strict word count ā Iāll give you a rundown of the highlights.
As an avid audiophile and unashamed tech addict, Iām being drip-fed a choice of disruptive clients in the space, starting with dedicated classical music streaming service, Primephonic, sleek and sustainable speaker designers, Transparent Sound, and British security authority, Brisant, who you may have noticed pop up in the Sunday Timesā Fast Track 100. We only work with the best.
Outside of my standard day-to-day, Iāve had the pleasure of representing Little Red
at a string of awards nights and events, including the Trusted Review and Pocket-lint awards, as well as the Smeg festive shopping night at its flagship store on Regents Street St Jamesā and our annual journalist Christmas lunch. And, while this did result in a last-minute panic-buying trip to find a suit that fits (as well as enduring my fair share of hangovers), Iāve savoured the opportunity of mingling with industry big-wigs who are truly on the pulse with all things tech.

Although not entirely work-related, the narcissist in me would lament if I didnāt mention that I also nearly won two competitions at these events ā one for best photo at the Pocket-lint awards, the other for the best time on Crash Team Racing at TechXmas last week. I fell short of pole position due to an employee beating me ā thatās how solid my driving skills were.
Still, despite these near misses, I have managed to achieve some victories since arriving, chief of all being landing my first piece of national coverage with none other than the Mail Online, the most popular English language website in the world. Not bad for the new kid on the block.
So, as you can probably tell by now, Iām having a whale of a time. And with more clients set to come my way in the New Year, itās safe to say Iāve only scratched the surface of whatās to come at the Coop.
