Sweet
Overhauling Brisant Secureâs âSweetâ range for the interiors market

Mission
Little Red Rooster began work with British security authority Brisant Secure in Aug 2019. While the initial brief was to launch its smart Ultion lock, before long the focus was on its sub-brand âSweetâ â a collection of design-led door furniture that combine both practicality with style. However, having had no press coverage for Sweet and zero assets to its name, the agency recognised a photoshoot was in order to help launch the brand successfully to the interiors press.
Method
To begin, we created a lookbook of inspirational imagery; conducting research on Pinterest and Instagram as to front door imagery and the kind of pics that were proving popular amongst the design crowd. We scoured popular social media channels for imagery and found a few key traits that would quickly become a pre-requisite for our photoshoot, and soon realised that seasonal imagery would be a surefire bet – a guaranteed method of securing coverage all year round.
We researched location houses, before agreeing that on a practical level, the required installation work needed to kit out a propertyâs front door would be too much; so instead; we reached out to existing customers on social media before finding a unique property in Walton-on-the-Naze, Essex, whereby we could shoot the entire âSweetâ collection in situ. We turned to longstanding LRR contact and super-stylist Lucy Gough to manage the shoot, and her trusty photographer Jake Seal.
Boom
The photoshoot provided Little Red Rooster with a bank of imagery and content to see us through at least a twelve month period â with photos for spring, summer, autumn and winter ideally placed for Sweetâs target publications. Despite the props purchased to create the seasonal shots, the focus was firmly kept on Sweet products, ensuring the images ultimately achieved their objective to help leverage coverage for the entire Sweet collection. The imagery was also utilised by Brisant for trade and marketing brochures, and across its social media channels. Better yet, the entire project was managed, shot and edited in lockdown â proof that even under the trickiest of circumstances, Little Red Rooster can truly make sh*t happen!
