The Cotswold Company’s Pure Natural Collection
Launching an established brand into a new product category during Covid lockdown

Mission
In 2020, Little Red Rooster was tasked with launching The Cotswold Companyâs Pure Natural Collection of mattresses â an eco-conscious yet luxurious range, and the brandâs first foray beyond its core furniture line-up. Our task was to secure coverage and build brand awareness around a company that was branching out, but we couldnât do anything face-to-face.
Method
Little Red Rooster quickly got to work brainstorming key aspects of the luxury product, alongside its significance given The Cotswold Companyâs furniture heritage and its brand values around exceptional built-to-last craftsmanship.
It was here our knock-out press office really came into its own. After curating press materials, Little Red Rooster set about liaising with a wide array of press:Â not only the interiors titles, but also the broader lifestyle media, especially those with a focus on sustainability and wellness. Plus, we knew our rolodex of fashion stylists would be interested in samples to use in upcoming photoshoots.
Further enhancing our media outreach, we arranged for eight key national press to receive a âsleep & wellness hamperâ (including The Cotswold Company bedding), to accompany virtual briefings. Coverage for the all-natural collection was booked in off the back of every briefing in print and/or online.
We finally set about securing as many eye-catching features for the mattress as possible, including photoshoots featuring the mattress as a backdrop.
Boom
In under six months, we secured 25 stardust hits for The Pure Natural Collection and took The Cotswold Company on the next stage of its lifestyle brand journey â the full suite of coverage reaching potential readerships of more than 300 million. This included standout coverage from GQ, Country & Town House, Square Mile, The Telegraph, Red, Cosmopolitan
and many more.
