Bisque #Radical40

Product Design Competition

Mission

To celebrate 40 years of its gorgeous radiators, Bisque wanted to launch a product design competition to increase brand awareness and encourage budding designers – who are also Bisque’s target customers – to get involved with the brand. We wanted to launch an integrated social media and PR campaign.

Method

Little Red Rooster was tasked with generating press coverage around the design competition, targeting design and interiors titles.

We helped Bisque to create social media campaigns that were aligned across Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Recognising that all social media channels have a different market, we curated content that would suit the audience of each. For example, on LinkedIn we were looking to target the Bisque showroom and bathroom designers. Whereas on Instagram, we were looking to target the general public, fans of Bisque and interior designers.

To improve SEO, Little Red Rooster curated a series of blogs about Bisque’s product range and unique design history.

To coincide with our earned marketing activity, we also assisted with putting together an advertising strategy to help build buzz around the competition as we wanted to target all businesses, from specification publications to the trade press and interiors magazines and even the London Underground. We used targeted ads in Old Street and Angel to attract people to the showroom nearby, encouraging footfall into the store and build brand awareness to a wider audience.

Boom

We have seen a plethora of quality coverage appear in publications such as House & Garden and KBB Daily. This combined with Bisque’s social media activity, has led to over 200 people apply to take part in the competition and has driven 2,000 unique views to the Bisque website through press referrals, Google search and social media.
