Emma Younger’s greatest hits

Much like the Rolling Stones, our Roosters have scooped a few number ones in their time. In our newest blog series, each member of the Coop will be breaking down their own Greatest Hits.

Taking the stage this time is veteran senior account manager and soon-to-be-seconded-into head of social, Emma Younger. After starting at Little Red Rooster as an intern way back in 2016, Emma hit her five-year milestone in June. Having dabbled in a range of sectors working on brands spanning interiors, tech, lifestyle and fashion, it’s been a whirlwind of a few years.

Here are her most memorable moments…

1] Salone de Mobile – Milan

Having the opportunity to attend the Dolce & Gabbana party as part of a press trip with Smeg during Salone de Mobile in 2018 was a ‘pinch myself’ moment. The event was unlike anything I’d ever seen – and I still dream about the pasta they served us!

2] House of Ted

Before working at Little Red Rooster, Ted Baker was one of my all-time favourite brands so when we won the opportunity to launch Ted’s new homeware collections, it was a dream come true! We worked with Ted’s in-house team to curate his ‘House of Ted’ and kitted out a beautiful rooftop apartment at the London Edition to debut Ted’s collection of rugs, bedding, tableware and home fragrances.

The space was gorgeous, the goody bags were amazing and we had over 100 press through the door. The end of that event was one of those where we each looked around and felt so proud of what we’d bought together!

3] LPG endermologie® in ST Style

This is the piece of coverage I am most proud of to date! It was completely different from any other client I’d ever worked on. In its most basic form, it was a service as opposed to a product and at the time, a whole new sector for us to tackle. Our biggest goal was getting the treatments into a high-end glossy magazine, or a broadsheet paper and ST Style was the crème-de-leme.

It took almost a year of hard work but when LPG endermologie’s facial treatments finally graced the pages of ST Style, I was completely made-up! The thrill of seeing your coverage in print never gets old and that was a real win for me!
