Last week we at Little Red Rooster celebrated the festive season with a lovely group of friends. We hosted our annual Christmas lunch ‘Polpo’ at ‘Ape & Bird’. The food was divine, as was the company. We started the evening with a tapas style lunch menu, which was followed by a raffle, brilliantly narrated by our chief rooster, Henry. The journalists had the chance to win a glorious array of products (all generously donated by our clients). Those in attendance walked away with Ruark R1’s, Silken Favours cushions, Dynaudio speakers, smarter iKettle’s, Stephenson satchels from Proporta and much more! The journalists loved their prizes and it was a great way to showcase the amazing products we work with.
After lavish helpings of chocolate cake, tiramisu and wine, the lunch was well on its way. Conversation was flowing and the atmosphere was vibrant, it is fair to say everyone was very much in a joyful mood. Us Roosters took the opportunity to mingle with our key media contacts and strengthen our great working relationships.
Those wanting to continue the merriment joined LRR at the ‘Karaoke Box’ in Soho. The Smiths seemed very popular throughout the evening, however it is fair to say Chaka Khan got most people singing. The night was in full swing and luckily for the other visitors the room was adequately sound proofed.
At the end of the event all journalists departed with an LRR goody bag, full to the brim with splendid gifts and of course a Christmas card full of seasonal cheer. The night and early morning was full of wine, great conversation and a lot of singing, what better way to celebrate the end of a fabulous year?
