Proporta Teams Up with the London College of Fashion

Little Red Rooster is proud of all its clients but back in December 2010, Proporta really surprised us when they told us they were teaming up with the London College of Fashion, to offer the opportunity to first year FdA Cordwainers Accessory Design students to design a series of mobile gadget accessories aimed with the “Global Commuter” in mind…
It’s great to see technology companies get behind students and give them a real chance to set themselves up for the future. And when its when of your own clients – well, its very pleasing! Technology has now become totally mainstream and gadgets part of a person attire. It is totally logical for the fashion and tech worlds to collide and we are so excited Proporta are blazing the way.

We’ve been involced from the start and after months of preparation, which included an initial brief to the LCF students, a hands-on field trip to Proporta HQ, a pre-assessment at the LCF offices and then a final judging by Proporta co-Director, Guy Monson and Head of Product, Lynnette Prigmore, Metro Newspaper technology editor, James Day, CNET mobile editor, Flora Fyffe-Graham and Something for the Weekend Gadget Girl, Nikki Moore a winner and two runners up have now been decided. The winner will receive a prize of £750 with the two runners up receiving £375 each. Keep your eyes peeled for further announcements after Easter.
