Just two weeks ago, and returning to the fabulous One Marylebone we hosted our, with no exaggeration, best event yet. Bringing together the best brands in the business, the Summer Showcase offers an invaluable opportunity for media to get to grips with new and upcoming launches from our incredible roster of clients from the worlds of technology, interiors, fashion and health, while also having a good old knees up.
In classic Little Red Rooster fashion, this year saw us deliver the unexpected. With the days of a venue packed with products on pedestals being over, we offered an interactive experience that pushed design boundaries. Guiding our lucky attendees through five themed zones; heritage, craftsmanship, design, performance and innovation, press explored each of our brands in a way that may not be initially expected to broaden their coverage horizons and get a deeper understanding of brands’ product stories.
The creative genius that is Hannah Franklin teamed up with us for a second year running to upscale last year’s offering of a still life room set to a fully styled event. After months of brainstorms, sketches and more Amazon Prime deliveries than you could ever imagine, the stage was set. From Snakehive’s monogramming station to Ariat’s horse jumps set and every living wall of Smeg ovens in between, the day was jam-packed full of face-to-face time between clients, media and roosters that was truly brought to life by its immersive surroundings.
Without making things all about ourselves, we believe that an integral part of PR is creating personal relationships which go way further the pitch emails that other agencies are built on. Therefore we also whipped up a Little Red Rooster hall of fame which paid tribute to the roosters who have made the business what it is today alongside some questionable photos from the years past.
Over 300 journalists and influencers alike flocked to the occasion (and to see the gallery of our faces of course), with journalists from the likes of Vogue and Cosmopolitan, to WIRED and Stuff, to the Evening Standard and the Sunday Times all ogling at the day’s delights.
From morning to evening, mouth-watering canapes also made their way around the venue while a delectable assortment of beverages were readily available at the bar, keeping our guests refreshed yet in great spirits for the evening ahead.
Once the sun was over the yardarm, wine and beer aplenty was served. You would expect no less from a Little Red Rooster bash. After a very successful day, it was time for a well-deserved wind-down. As 8pm neared, guests, clients and roosters congregated around the DJ booth for much laughter, some memorable dancing and one or twelve espresso martinis, bringing a fantastic day to a fitting close.
We would like to say an almighty thank you to all of our fabulous clients for helping to craft an event that will go down in history alongside all of the press and influencers who attended our best ever Summer Showcase. See you all next summer!
