Little Red Rooster takes centre stage with UK Fender account

We are delighted to announce yet another high-profile win, with Little Red Rooster taking on the retained UK consumer brief for American cultural icon and legendary music brand, Fender Musical Instruments Corporation.

You could say it’s a dream lineup. Like Mick and Keith, Page and Plant, bolt-on neck and maple fretboard.

Little Red Rooster will be instrumental (sorry) in setting up and running Fender’s first press office here in the UK. We will be handling PR for the company’s guitars – such as the iconic Stratocaster and Telecaster – as well as amplifiers, Fender Artist Showroom, headphones, Bluetooth speakers, and digital offerings.

The agency is tasked with generating thought-leadership campaigns, handling hero product launches, experiential events and influencer outreach.

The account will be overseen by Little Red Rooster partners Henry Griffiths and Victoria Ruffy. It will be led by senior account manager Harriet Sweet, who is set to join Little Red Rooster from Mountain Warehouse, where she headed up multiple outdoor accounts in-house while directing social media strategy. Harriet will be supported by specialists across Little Red Rooster’s technology, interiors and fashion divisions.

Speaking of the win, Little Red Rooster partner Victoria Ruffy commented:

“It has been a spectacular year for us and being invited to pitch for Fender was a true dream come true. My first guitar was a Fender Squier, so to now be leading the PR for such an awesome brand is just mind-blowing. We’ve got fantastic creative ideas for Fender and cannot wait to bring home the coverage this epic brand deserves.”

Fender joins a growing roster of epic brands managed by the agency, including Bang & Olufsen, Smeg, adidas Sport eyewear and Freeview, to name just a few.
