Finding our zen with Bang & Olufsen

Mention Bang & Olufsen and images of spectacular high-end TVs, sound systems and loudspeakers come to mind. As one of the world’s oldest and most iconic audio-visual brands, it has led the way in design, craft and innovation for 93 years.

 

 

Hitting both ends of the spectrum, B&O’s portfolio boasts examples of interior excellence such as the showstopping Beosound Edge and Beosound Shape, to day-to-day portable audio accessories like the H9i headphones and P6 speaker.

 

 

But this week, Little Red Rooster was tasked with marking the arrival of its latest launch in the UK – the E6 earphones.

 

 

 

 

Super lightweight and designed to resist tear, sweat and moisture, the earphones are an essential for any fitness fan. So rather than our usual glitzy press parties, we decided to invite a carefully selected group of top tier journalists to the super cool and exclusive Another Space gym in Covent Garden for a moment of zen. Editors from the likes of The Sunday Times, Daily Telegraph, Harper’s Bazaar and Women’s Health (to name just a few) were invited for a 45 minute yoga session from influencer Chris Magee, snappy product demo and talk about the synergy between music and an active lifestyle.

 

 

 

The rebalancing yoga session was timed to a pre-curated playlist by Chris, which guests were given access to for future workouts in a jampacked gift bag, including a pair of the earphones, Lulu Lemon yoga mat, Stay Sixty water bottle and healthy treats from Pip & Nut and Pressd London.

 

 

Post-workout, attendees met back in the reception lounge where they were given complimentary smoothies and the chance to explore the different E6 colourways, and chat to spokespeople from B&O and us Roosters! In just 45 minutes between the gym’s morning Cycle class and our yoga event, we’d managed to transform the reception space into a beautiful Bang & Olufsen showroom, so journalists were able to explore the brand’s other collections in a space which oozed B&O’s usual Scandi-cool style.

 

 

 

The successful event was not only an opportunity to showcase the earphones and to explain the reason behind the design, but also to immerse the journalists in the purpose of the earphones – to promote an active, balanced lifestyle.

 

 

With another cracking event under our belt, we’re off into the weekend still feeling relaxed, zen and ready for the next one. Namaste.
